LEVITILES: SOME NEWS ABOUT THE BIG SIZES FINISHING
In Castellarano factories is working a new lapping machine for sizes until the 120×120, which integrate with Hi-Coat Coating System plant.
Castellarano, on 24th June 2008. In Levitiles factory ( Castellarano – Reggio Emilia) has started to work the new lapping and grinding machine, which is able to finish sizes from the 30×30 until the 120×120. This is a significant enlargement of the Levitiles plant structure, which has already 16 complete working lines, 4 Hi-Coat Coating System lines and a complete department for the realization of steps and L elements, starting from finished tiles. This new lapping machine, which smooth and lap, is paired to a squaring machine with seven spindles, with dryer and controls for dimension and levelness attached. Clearly during the a.m. process it is possible to insert also the Hi-Coat Coating System plant, which protect definitively the tiles from the spotting agents, thanks to the combined action of nanotechnology and a patented application system. Hi-Coat characterize all the Levitiles production: already 2 smoothing and 8 lapping lines, has been equipped for the application of this finishing nano-structured. During the last year has been finished in the factory more than 7 millions of square meters of tiles.
