PREVIEW OF TECNARGILLA 2012

Positive results for the Sassuolo-based group, which is participating in Tecnargilla 2012 with the finest end-of-line technology for the ceramic industry

Ancora Group, the leading Sassuolo-based company in the field of design and production of complete end-of-line plants for ceramics, posted 20% year-on-year turnover growth in 2011 to a total of 52 million euro. This extremely positive result repays the company’s continuous commitment to research and development, its ability to respond effectively to the demands of the market and its strong focus on customer service.
The Sassuolo-based group is now preparing for its participation in Tecnargilla, the world’s most important exhibition of technological innovation and aesthetics for the ceramic and brick industries to be held in Rimini from 24 to 28 September 2012.

“Our commercial results are highly satisfactory, although the recession is leading to longer payment times,” commented Ancora Group’s CEO Franco Ponsone. “This is forcing companies to adopt more complex management procedures. We hope that concrete measures will be implemented as soon as possible to facilitate the recovery of the economy in general. In the meantime we are pursuing technological innovation as our key strategy for achieving growth.”

Over the last three years Ancora Group has invested more than 5 million euro in research and development, focusing on custom plant design to meet specific customer requirements. Thanks to its ownership of a number of national and international patents, the high quality of its plants and an uncompromising commercial strategy, the group has installed more than 800 lines in over 40 countries worldwide.
The group’s key markets are in Europe (including Italy and Eastern Europe), Latin America and North Africa. Its most widely sold products include complete lines for honing and lapping, special cutting lines, and eco-sustainable and energy-saving solutions for the ceramic industry.

The Sassuolo-based group has also recently redesigned its website, making it richer in content as well as more functional, interactive and simple to navigate. The decision to host news and press releases on the homepage reflects the aim of providing constantly updated information. The site also provides full information on Ancora’s participation at Tecnargilla 2012.
