TECNARGILLA 2010
THE REVOLUTION IN TECHNOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY: THE INNOVATIONS FROM ANCORA GROUP
Innovative systems for automatic calibre adjustment and for supervision and control of complete polishing lines, as well as a brand-new photocatalytic treatment for ceramic tiles: at Tecnargilla 2010, Ancora is unveiling a revolution in technological efficiency.
The Sassuolo-based Ancora Group is presenting major innovations at Tecnargilla 2010, the world’s leading showcase of technological innovation and aesthetics in the ceramic industry to be held in the Rimini exhibition centre from 27 September to 1 October.
At the show Ancora Group is unveiling Ancora Tutor, an innovative supervision and control system and the first of its kind designed for the polishing sector. Unlike conventional systems, Ancora Tutor uses a wireless touch-screen terminal and displays a complete description of any problems along with appropriate solutions, giving technicians complete control over the process stages in order to improve efficiency and production capacity.
At Tecnargilla 2010 the Ancora Group is also displaying its new range of ceramic tile squaring machines, which have been entirely redesigned to ensure superior belt protection and to improve ergonomics and accessibility.
But the most important new development is the introduction of numerical control on all the machine’s axes of movement. This makes it possible to set the tile calibre and adjust the amount of material removed by each tool automatically and perfectly symmetrically.
The group is also presenting its new Hi Coat EcoCat photocatalytic treatment for curtain walls and interior and exterior ceramic wall tiling, a self-cleaning and above all environmentally-friendly treatment that is capable of dispersing polluting organic particles. This nanotechnology-based product acts in the presence of sunlight and can be applied to polished, lapped and natural tiles, bringing clear advantages in terms of cost and effectiveness.
Ancora Group of Sassuolo is a world leader in the design and construction of plant and machinery for end-of-line processing of ceramic products. The finishing division – specialising in polishing, lapping, cutting and grinding – is the largest third party production centre in the world.
The Hi Coat Coating System brand name was created as a partnership between Ancora Group and the German chemicals firm Nanoquadrat.
At Tecnargilla 2010, Ancora Group is in hall D1 – stand 071.
